Pros and cons of Your Dogs Heart Resting Respiratory Rate app for iPhone and iPad

Your Dogs Heart Resting Respiratory Rate app good for

My dog has chf and this is great to keep track of his resting heart rate. How can I export all the data? Seems it only does the last 3 months.
It’s good app! Thanks, but VERY NEED RUSSIAN LANGUAGE! Please...

Some bad moments

Its a nice interface that appears to run well. But then every few days, the app clears all of the respiratory rate data without an option to save elsewhere. So if you need to collect and save data between doctors visits, this app will disappoint.
This app would be a lot more useful if the timer had sound. Its too hard to count your dogs breaths and have to keep checking the timer. It just counts down to zero with no sound or indication that time has run out.
We use this to measure our cat’s respiratory rate. He has heart disease and we take his breathing count regularly. This app has been very helpful in tracking his rate over extended periods of time to share with the vet. The one and only complaint we have is the VERY LOUD BARK sound that plays when the timer counts down to zero. If the volume on the phone is any higher than 25% when the timer counts down to zero, the bark sound plays so loud that it startles both the cat and us. An option to disable the bark sound or choose a custom sound would be a great addition to this app.
Wonderful app when tracking your pets respiratory rate. My vet recommended this and its very easy to set up your pets info and track the results. You can even easily email them to your vet. My only suggestion for improvement is allow option for vibrate only or vibrate and sound when the timer runs out. The notification when time is up is a loud bark and it plays even when my iPhone is switched to silent. It startled my dog and me! Otherwise great and thank you for providing this!
Update- app "bark" now so low one can hardly hear it! If not watching count, have to redo- ANNOYING. Still like the app. Good app --very useful to send reports to my vet, Minor issue- it wont keep picture of my dog. It does for awhile and then picture simply disappears. Annoying but it would be nice to have it stay. Other than that great app!
This is a great app. Great idea and easy to use. How neat that I can email results to my vet. As another reviewer mentioned, the loud bark timer alarm, which I cant turn down, is a real drawback. Sure its a fun idea but not great for cats, or possible ailing or sensitive dogs. I have to wrap my hands around my phone to shield the noise while Im counting breaths for my cat – pretty distracting. Please at least give us the option to change the sound or volume. Otherwise a very, very helpful app!
